The history of candles goes back hundreds of years. During this time, the candle as a symbol has found its place in works of art, speech and writing. In symbolism, it is likened to the sun, it is a symbol of light, life, spirituality.
The candle is one of the symbols of medicine, in which it is represented as a doctor who neglects himself for the sake of patients. There is a Latin proverb: Aliis inserviendo ipse consumor - "Shining to others, I burn out."
Candles were invented by man a long time ago, but for a long time they were expensive and were used only in the homes of wealthy people. The prototype of a candle is a bowl filled with oil or fat, with a sliver as a wick (later, fiber or cloth wicks were used). Such lamps gave off an unpleasant smell and smoked a lot. The first candles of modern design appeared in the Middle Ages and were made from fat (most often) or from wax. Wax candles have been very expensive for a long time. To illuminate a large room, hundreds of candles were required, they smoked, blackening the ceilings and walls.
Our farm produces candles exclusively from the beeswax of our apiary. We put our love and diligence into the production of candles. These candles burn for a long time, do not emit an unpleasant smell, do not crack, brightly illuminate your space.
